For Microbiological Analysis
The new Anavac™ system consists of a microprocessor-based controller,
a diaphragm vacuum pump and a gas reservoir connection. The oxygen
containing air is removed and replaced by nitrogen gas or carbon dioxide in the
programmed quantities.
Fast
Generates an anaerobic atmosphere (O2 <0.05%) in less than 3 minutes.
The vitality of the sensitive strains remains safe.
Simple to Use
Programmable by keyboard, with automatic management cycles of draining
and filling, with a replacement gas (nitrogen, carbon dioxide). Control of the
draining up to 2mbar in order to avoid risk of cell lysis.
Costs and Convenience
Traditional methods may have both high capital costs (glove boxes) and/or high
consumable costs (glove box gases and bag based anaerobic jars). Anavac™ is
different, the power and control of the vacuum system is sufficient to operate
without sachets or catalysts, eliminating the consumable costs associated
with traditional anaerobic jars.
In addition, the use of existing house nitrogen as an oxygen-free replacement
gas, eliminates the need to manage large gas cylinders in the lab. Where
alternative gases are desirable, only one lecture bottle will be required for
long periods of use.
Simple Assembly
Special click connectors, with a one-way valve, make it easy to disconnect the
jar when placing in an incubator.
Anaerobic Jar
2.5L capacity, supplied with a rack for 2 Petri dishes.
Typical Applications
Testing for anaerobic bacteria in quality control processes of food, beverages,
cosmetics and hygiene products.
