The nanoCell measuring cell is designed in such a way that, for example, DNA/RNA or protein measurements can be carried out with a high level of reproducibility.
The nanoCell dimensions are the same as a standard cuvette and can
therefore be used without any problems in the Thermo Spectrometer
Biomate 3, Biomate 5 and Helios range.
Saves time and avoids errors
The 1mm or 0.2mm lid forms a measuring chamber with a defined layer
depth of 1mm or 0.2mm. Compared with a standard cuvette with a 10mm
layer thickness a virtual dilution of 1:10 or 1:50 is therefore achieved.
With the integrated beam deflection and the use of fibre optic light guides,
it is possible to apply the sample directly to the surface of the measuring
window. The lid provides a defined optical layer thickness.
Low sample volumes, faster analyses

Exact measurements
DNA measurements in the concentration range of 4.0 - 4.500ng/mL are possible with an accuracy of 0.3ng/mL.
Easy to clean
During the pipetting and cleaning steps the nanoCell
remains in the cuvette holder in the photometer. Easy
cleaning with a paper towel means a high sample
throughput and avoids samples being carried over. |
