Fisher Chemicals gained registration to BS 5750 in 1990 and has maintained this accreditation. Currently we are ISO 9002 accredited and are regularly audited by both internal and external auditors.

We followed a phased implementation programme in preparation for the new standard (ISO 9001:2000) which was completed in February 2003. This new standard provides an enhanced requirement for 'continual improvement', defining a complete cycle to improve the effectiveness of the quality management system.

This process focuses on continually improving our effectiveness and/or fulfilling our policies and objectives. Continual improvement responds to the growing needs and expectations of our customers and ensures dynamic evolution of the quality management system.
