BioProcess Containers™ Systems
BioProcess Container™ (BPC®) systems are single-use, disposable flexible containers (bags) for liquid handling. Manufactured of medical-grade plastics (passes USP Class VI medical grade testing) and configured with ports, tubing, fittings and end treatments, BPC systems provide efficient means for sterile liquid handling in research and production settings.

Serum-Free Media
Thermo Scientific Hyclone serum-free media (SFM) are developed through Metabolic Pathway Design™ to support superior performance in multiple cell culture platforms. This developmental approach produces SFM targeted to increasing process yields for each respective cell platform. Current SFM applications include hybridoma, NS0, insect, CHO, PER.C6™, HEK 293, MDCK, MDBK, COS-7, and Vero cell cultures.

Liquid Classical Media
All of Thermo Scientific Hyclone cell culture media are manufactured with exacting protocols and procedures to ensure product efficacy and homogeneity. Products are formulated, milled, and blended into complete powdered media according to written, approved specifications. These bulk formulations are then either packaged as ready-to-hydrate, finished powders or transferred to the media hydration facility for hydration and sterile filtration into a HyClone delivery system.

Cell Culture Reagents and Supplements
Living cells in vivo obtain the nutrients they require directly from the blood and biological tissues that surround them. Cell culture media are composed of inorganic salts, sugars (energy sources), vitamins, amino acids and other components which are intended to mimic as nearly as possible these natural biological fluids. Duplicating nature's miracle with exactness is, of course, impossible. Accordingly, animal derived serum is a popular media supplement (FBS in particular).
