Introducing the Fisher Scientific iPhone App

The Fisher Scientific iPhone app utilises the latest technology to deliver true mobile-commerce to our customers. The free app, which is available in the Apple App Store now, is a lightweight application that gives you access to our entire product range from the palm of your hand.

You don’t have to download our full product database to your phone (save that space for those important music tracks and games!), the Fisher Scientific app uses a real-time connection to pull in product information. Search for the products you need, build your basket and as a Fisher Scientific account holder place the order. No more waiting for your PC to boot-up, as long as you have a 3G or WiFi connection you can be ordering products in under 30 seconds.

For those items you order regularly, print off the barcode from our webshop and use the apps built in scanner, simply point your phones camera at the barcode and add to your basket. No more searching, no more making sure you have the right product just point, scan and order - simple.

It’s not all about buying products either. Using the app's news feed you can easily view the latest articles and tweets direct from your phone. No more missing that special offer or new product announcement.

To help you in the lab you can also use the app's Lab Timer. Time your experiment, add split times and record notes against the time-points. You can even export the results to an excel spreadsheet and send this to your email.
