Fizzy drink consumption linked to increased diabetes risk

Rib used to create ear for deaf man
A piece of rib and a bone conduction implant have been used in a pioneering operation to treat a man's deafness.
Brian Hogg from Edinburgh was fitted with an implant called Bonebridge and given the new ear by NHS Lothian surgeons. He is the first person in the UK to have undergone the procedure. Read the rest of this entry »
