It is just a few months since we launched our new iPhone app and we are very excited by the response so far.
The app is revolutionising the service we offer to our customers with its slick interface and super-fast ordering capability.
Soon after its release the app achieved Top 50 status in Apple’s ‘Top Free Business Apps’ and was crowned as ‘New and Noteworthy’ by iTunes. We are the first to use B2B e-commerce in our field, so to receive recognition from the technology industry big hitters is high praise indeed.
So what’s next? Well it’s over to our customers for their feedback. The response from those who are using the app will be crucial to its ongoing development and ensure that we continue to lead innovation in this field.
If you are a customer who is using (or would like to use) the new Fisher Scientific iPhone app then get in touch. For those of you who are already up and running, let us know what you think. Please contact us via Facebook or Twitter.
We love to hear your feedback and it will help us to ensure that the app continues to go from strength to strength.
And of course, if all this is news to you then you will want to watch the app in action.

These boring sets of black and white lines can now be found on almost every single item bought from a shop.
At first glance, it seems hard to see how they possibly made any impact on the world, but they have fundamentally changed the way we shop.
Norman Woodland first developed an early form of the bar code in 1949 by combining ideas from movie soundtracks and Morse code to help him speed up store checkouts. They now allow stores to instantly access product details, prices and stock levels with the sweep of a laser.
With the new Fisher Scientific iPhone app you can download bar codes for your favourite items from our website and scan them for easy order entry! Watch the video »
Do you think the bar code is the best invention ever? Have your say on our Facebook page and you could win an 8GB iPod Touch!
