"In this experiment I had performed immunoprecipitations from cells expressing two different GFP-fusion proteins using an
anti-GFP antibody linked to sepharose. I used western blotting to analyse my input, flowthrough and bound-protein samples from experiments which had been
carried out with either cytoplasmic or nuclear extracts.
I took advantage of a demonstration of the SNAP i.d. system that Millipore were conducting at my workplace,
and compared the results obtained using the SNAP i.d. to process one blot to those obtained using my standard procedure with a separate but near identical blot.
